Prince Caspian Director Andrew Adamson

Prince Caspian Director Andrew Adamson

Andrew Adamson has racked up quite an impressive filmography in seven short years, starting with the Oscar-winning Shrek and its blockbuster sequel.

Despite their success, some people still questioned putting an "animation director" at the helm of an epic like C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, only for him to prove himself more than capable of handling epic live action films equally well. With THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN, the filmmaker might have outdone himself by creating huge battle scenes with even more lifelike Narnian creatures and upping the game of all the young actors involved.

In the movie, the four Pevensie kids return to Narnia, now nearly 1,300 years since they left, and find that much of the magic has been vanquished by the invading Telmarine army of King Miraz. Along with the king's estranged stepson Prince Caspian (newcomer Ben Barnes), they must fight and win Narnia back for the few remaining magical creatures that inhabit it.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN will be in cinemas from June 26th.
